The Story so Far..

Signs and Portents (Part 1)

Sir Anton Medina Castenda managed to finish his service on Severus. He spent his last firebirds for a cheep flight to Cadiz in hope that he might find work there. Like any planet Cadiz has many left over soldiers looking for work after the Emperor Wars. Anton does discover that he could work security for the Emperors coronation anniversary which will take place on Cadiz in six months.

Anton is later greeted by Crantz and Stern, two servants of Baroness Isabelle Castenda de Abdera who got word of his arrival. They invite him to Abdera, a large fief on Northern Cadiz which is apparently lawless. Anton begrudgingly accepts Isabelle’s invitation.

Lady Elehah Al’Malik and her confessor, Father Lerone Cameton also arrive on Cadiz on orders of the Phoenix to investigate Cadiz and make sure it is safe for the Emperor’s visit. They are also on special invite by Count Renato Decados, Elehah’s uncle, who wishes Elehah to stay with her cousin, Baronet Aleksei Decados.

Elehah and Lerone are greeted by Bontina Kurai, an Obon servant of Aleksei’s. They are transported to the minor fief of Lemingrad just outside of Abdera. When they arrive there is no sign of Aleksei. Botina has no excuse, only that he is busy.

Anton’s meeting with Isabelle goes well. Isabelle tells him that she is aware of his past and could possibly help him. She is upset that she lost the fief of Lemingrad to Aleksei when she had to leave for the Emperor Wars. The Decados have recognized Aleksei’s claim and there is nothing she can do about without possibly jeopardizing her contract with the Decados. As a result she plans on offering Aleksei Lady Constance Eler Castenda de Vir's hand in marriage. Aleksei must marry soon and a marriage between the two will eventually result in Aleksei declaring fealty to her instead of the Decados.

If Anton agrees to help Isabelle and play the part of Constance’s protector and champion she will give Anton the money, resources, status, and honor he needs to return to Sutek, to claim revenge upon his brother and reclaim the Medina house. Anton agrees.

Lady Elehah and Father Cameton are awoken by the sounds of Elehah’s pet cat, Hellbaine, pouncing on a disobedient servant. The servant reveals himself as Aleksei who than treats them with respect.

The next day Anton and Constance arrive at Lemingrad. They are greeted and diplomatic exchanges are made. Anton and Constance join everyone on a tour of the Great Dome, a giant garden which sits on top of the central tower.

During the tour Anton pulls Aleksei aside and tells him of Lady Isabelle’s invitation of marriage to Lady Constance along with the 20% off fief taxes as a dowry. Aleksei says he has already received a proposal of marriage from a Earl Igor Decados on Severus and though Isabelle’s offer is better, he must give the Baron a chance to counter offer.

In the meantime Father Cameton discovered a hidden garden in the dome and picks one of the petals off a strange poppy.

On the way down from the dome Aleksei challenges Anton to a friendly duel to the yield. The winner will be able to cut the house insignia from the loser’s wardrobe. When they arrive at the courtyard everyone is shocked to discover an audience for the duel. Anton and Aleksei make the appropriate dueling rituals and proceed. Anton manages to beat Aleksei with his perfection behind a blade, unflinching to Aleksei’s surprise tactics. Anton manages to spear him in the gut and cutting the mantis insignia from his breast. Aleksei is shocked by the deepness of his wound, but not by its outcome.

Signs and Portents (Part 2)

The beating of her heart. Blood slowly dripped from her nose. The psychic woman was wrapped in straps which hung from the roof of the domed room. The chemicals that pumped into her skull and heart allowed her to reach out with her mind and see nothing...

"Her heart is beating too fast. We'll have to shut her down." Said the guard as he grabbed a large syringe and injected her with a new chemical. Slowly she passed out.

The explorer class ship sped quickly toward Cadiz. The captain of the ship entered a room with a young Rook awakening from a long slumber. He sat up and saw the concern of the ship captains face.

"We have managed to detect the Invisible Path's ship. It appeared out of nowhere."

The Invisible Path's frigate was in hot pursuit. The leader was young and handsome except for the mask that covered half his face. None of his crew would question him, they all feared him.

"No, let them eat static. Will we be able to destroy the ship before they intercept us."

"The explorer is requesting aid sir and the frigate won't respond to our hails. What should we do?"

"This is damn odd." The Decados captain said as he looked at his scanner and reports. "Increase the magnification. I want to see what is happening."

From the Decados captain's screen he could see the frigate overpower the explorer. It was helpless as it was bombarded with artillery. "Prepare to engage. All gun ports have permission to fire when in range." It was was too late. The explorer exploded in a fabulous flash. The debris falling toward the planet. The attacking frigate disappeared from both sight and sensor.

Lerone suddenly woke up from his dream. He was breathing heavily and covered in sweat. Jumping up and running toward Lady Elehah's room. Hellbaine almost trampled him as he entered startling Elehah "My lady, I had a dream. We must hurry to the roof!"

Elehah had learned not to question Lerone's visions and quickly joined him. From the roof of the Royal Tower they spotted a small craft burning in the atmosphere as it came crashing down toward the ground. It landed in a flash toward the north. Lerone quickly related his vision and Elehah prepared an away party consisting of herself, Sir Anton, Crants and Stern, and a platoon of Decados soldiers.

Shale Degraner Harrison looked at the face of the peasant on the other side of the table. Somehow, the peasant managed to find a glowing ball of old tech. Shale managed to make a quick deal with the man offering seven firebirds for the object. He new he could get at least 15 firebirds for it, probably 20.

Suddenly a flash of light entered the bar slightly blinding the patrons. Shale ran out side and noticed something had landed a mile, maybe two, away. He quickly hopped on his cycle, "damn, still low on gas", he thought as he drove off.

As he encountered the crash site Shale noticed that it was surrounded by the Derock gang, one of four major gangs that roamed the ruins of Abdera. Shale spoke with them but Dal, their leader, was being stubborn about letting him see the wreckage.

"If you don't let me see the wreckage, Dal, I'll have to bring out my men!", Shale warned as the Decados exploration team rounded the corner. "There it is!" Elehah said and Dal starred at Shale wide eyed. Elehah, Anton made introductions with the Scraver and cleared out the gang. As they went down to the escape pod they realized it had already been open, and the occupant was gone. They quickly questioned Dal once again and discovered that two Derock, Gimli and Tupak, had taken him to the Amanthen, Father Gregor, for medical attention.

Shale knew of the place and led the way. The sun started to rise as they encountered a man with Derock markings. He was mad gibbering about the darkness, and demons. He grabbed at Anton asking for forgiveness. Lerone blessed the poor man but it helped little and they continued on their way.

They arrived at the Amanthens sanctuary and spoke with Father Gregor, who had just finished working on a member of the Derock gang who had been shot. It was strange as the Abdera gangs rarely use slug throwers. Father Gregor admitted that he did have the occupant of the escape pod. However, he requested not to see anyone. "If you could go back and ask him to see us. Tell him who we are and we are here to help", Anton said. Father Gregor respected the request. A little later he led them into a secret room where the Rook lied.

"There is a plot... Assasination... Beware the Invisible Path... Darkness follows... beware a traitor among the Decados..." the Rook babbled delirious from pain. Father Gregor would not let the Rook be moved until the next day and everyone returned to Lemingrad thinking that Aleksei was the traitor.

Back at Lemingrad Anton made a plan to bring out the traitor. He would leave rumor with Natasha Gulian, Lemingrad's seneschal, that they found someone who knew who the traitor was and he would be on the third floor of the Broken Tower. Shale hid on the third floor, planted a radio, and waited. Anton waited outside. At the designated time Aleksei entered the Broken Tower with Botina Kurai and a few troops.

"I don't understand. Where is this person who is suppose to tell me of a traitor? Are you sure Natasha said the Broken Tower? Sometimes that woman makes no sense at all. She should stick to running the household and leave the secrets to us professionals."

Anton and Shale were confused. They hoped Aleksei would want to kill the snitch, not question him for the same information they were after... They had little time to discuss it as they had to hurry to Father Gregor's and see if the Rook was ok. Luckily, he was and coherent.

"My name is Alex Skywir. I am a Rook for the Hawkwoods send to follow a psychic who was believed to be carrying secret Hawkwood information. I managed to follow him to Manitou where I discovered the Invisible Path. I found out about their plot to assassinate Grigori Decados..."

"The traitor is.." Suddenly Anton lost control. His consciousness drifted behind his mind for but an instant. When Anton regained consiousness Alex Skywir layed dying on the floor having been stabbed by Anton. "You must stop the assasination... The Invisible Path cannot succeed... else darkness and war follow... ... ... ..."

"Who is the traitor? Who is the traitor?" Anton repeated as Alex died in his hands! Anton realized the Shale's slug thrower was pointed at his head. "I didn't do this, there is something else out there that gets in your head. Like the Derock we spotted yesterday."

They heard a slug gun shot from outside. Everyone went to investigate and realized that one of the Decados guards went crazy and shot another. They soon realized that there were four men in the area. They entered combat with the psychics. Shale took shots a them as they sat behind cover on the second story of a ruined building. One hit!

Anton and a guard quickly entered the building. As they walked through Anton heard a yelp from behind him as he saw the guard get pulled into the air with a wire noose around his neck. As the guard went up a gangly psychic came down shooting at Anton. Anton's shield came to life deflecting the bullet and he ran the psychic through. Shale quickly entered the room backing up the noble. They discovered another psychic on the second floor. Shale went to take a shot but the psychic mentally pushed his hand almost taking Anton's leg off. Anton let the psychic feel the touch of steel.

Screams came from the Amantheans sanctuary. Anton and Shale hurried down and discovered another psychic pulsing with electric current as he fried Father Gregor. Anton tried to shoot him with his slug gun but was not skilled with the weapon as was the blade. Shale finished the job leaving slugs in the head of the demented psychic.

One left. An second investigation of the ruined building revealed the final psychic, bleeding from the arm by a slug but minutes before.

"My mission here is complete. The Rook is dead and soon plan and plots shall start to fall into place. We'll not only gain our freedom from the nobles and patriarchy, but we shall also rule. It is now time for you to kill me."

"I will not! Who is the traitor? Tell me now else I have you tortured!" Anton demanded. Shale felt his mind leave and pointed his slug thrower at Anton's head for the second time in a day but this time not of his own volition.

Anton stabbed him through the throat and the psychic pulled himself forward and somehow forced air through his windpipe. "You have all become a part of this. Soon you will know darkness." The psychic placed his hand on Anton's "And you will remember.... .... ...."

Anton pulled the blade from his neck. Nothing else could be done. They had the psychics buried and returned to Lemingrad determined to find out more... before it is too late. (back to the top)

Hierarchy of Sin

The luxury liner Dilettante glowed in the port side window of the shuttle. Aleksei always looked forward to his uncle's annual ball. Count Renato Decados started the ball after the Emperor Wars when he acquired the Dilettante The ball had been getting more popular every year and this year had promise to be the best as Lady Ember Decados, a popular singer, was going to be providing the entertainment.

The shuttle docked with the Dilettante and Aleksei, Elehah, Shale, and brother Lerone de boarded. Shale kept his head down trying not to start any conversation. He knew the nobles would find it odd that he came along but a letter from Boss Linzy DiCaprio required that he find some crucial information for the Scravers.

"Welcome aboard the Dilettante I'm am the head servant, Gabriel." said a short man who greeted the guests at the air lock. "I would just like to give you a quick schedule of events. After you freshen up many of the guests are relaxing in the restaurant area and having ordourves. In a few hours we'll be serving dinner masterfully crafted by the best chefs on Cadiz. Soon after we'll be providing entertainment starring Ember Decados. There will than be a healthy break, around 8 hours, for you to rest up. Finally, you will all be introduced and the ball will begin. Are there any questions?..."

"I'll need a servant to take care of my cat and pick up the droppings." said Elehah.

"Yes, of course. That has already been taken care of. We had been notified that the cat would be coming aboard. Now, if you'll follow the bellhop, he'll take you to your room."

Everyone had been taken to the royal guest rooms except Shale who had been taken to a servants quarters. This bothered him little as it gave him room to wander around without gaining too much attention. Shale grabbed a head servant and offered him 10 fb to give him any information on an unscheduled shuttle that was supposed to doc with the Dilettante during their stay. He then met up with Anton who had been searching for him.

Elehah, Aleksei, and Lerone entered the lounge where many of the nobles had been talking. Aleksei immediately noticed his uncle.

"Yes, good to see you too nephew. Ahhh... and you must be Elehah Al'Malik, Questing Knight to the Emperor and my niece." Renato said looking at Elehah.

"I am my lord. And this is my Consort Lerone Camtone. It is good to finally meet you." said Elehah.

While the three nobles were chatting Lerone noticed another Al'Malik on board. His name was Sir Shahin Amid Al Malik, a major during the Emperor Wars and x-lover of Elehah. Shahin had been set to wed Elehah as soon as the war was over but the emperor's invitation to the Questing Knights quickly ended that.

"My lady. Look... over to the right flirting with the two young Decados." Lerone whispered into Elehah's ear.

Elehah quickly looked over, "By the Pancreator. What is he doing here." And with that Elehah excused herself from Renato and Aleksei and tried to make a point not to be seen by Shahin.

Anton and Shale entered the lounge and Anton immediately saw Aleksei speaking with a fat man. The man weighed between 900-1000 lbs and was held up by a floating barge. He was constantly being fed and served by 4 different servants who never left his side. Anton knew who this was by the rumors he had heard, it was Earl Igor Decados from Severus and his competitor in offering a bride to Aleksei. Anton did not waste a second and marched up to the two while introducing himself. During the conversation Anton discovered that Igor had removed his dowry and changed brides. He was now offering his daughter Ember Decados, one of the most popular vocalists in the Decados Worlds. He could see by the look on Aleksei's face that his offer for Constance's hand was in jeopardy.

Shale managed to follow an engineer to the lower decks and offered him 50 fb to drop the scanner for half an hour during the ball. The engineer was reluctant but agreed to the deal. As Shale returned to the guest area the servant caught up with him and told him that an unscheduled flight was to doc soon after the evening entertainment began. With that news Shale made his way to dinner.

Elehah and Lerone had been arguing with the matridee trying to rearrange the seating order as they found out Shahin would be sitting directly across from Elehah. There was nothing the matridee could do as the seating arrangement had been specifically prepared and it would take too long to change it. All the guests had a fine dinner and Shahin was polite to Elehah

Soon after dinner the entertainment started starring Ember. As the guests took their places Shahin attempted to sit next to Elehah but Lerone made sure he would be at least one seat away. Anton noticed Aleksei was sitting near the front, probably looking forward to Ember's performance. He sat next to him and made sure that Constance sat on his other side.

Shale headed to the airlock where his non-registered guest was expected to make his appearance.

During the performance Count Renato tried to sneak out but not without Lerone noticing. The priest excused himself and followed the Count. Once on the lower decks Lerone noticed Shale poorly hidden.

"Shhh... over there. Renato is up to something." Shale said pointing to the airlock which opened revealing a medium sized man wearing popular guild fashions. Behind the man walked in two servants caring a large trunk. Two more servants with another trunk also emerged from the entrance.

As the man entered Lerone fell unconscious and Shale caught him just before he made a loud thud on the floor.

They hung from the ropes, just conscious enough to feel the pain. The torturer knew no mercy, he knew only pain. Constance hung there strapped to another, naked, bloody. The razor marks ran all over her and her partner's body.

"Yes, as instructed. I'm sure you'll find everything in order. I'll have the servants take the packages to your quarters. If you'll be excusing me I have further business to take care of." the man replied as he and Renato walked off.

Lerone woke and the servants started to carry the trunks away. Shale and Lerone cornered them demanding that they open the trunks. The servants would not and threatened to shoot them if they did not let them pass. Finally, Shale and Lerone had little choice but to let them pass.

Lerone and Shale hurried back to the entertainment which had been erotic, yet depressing. Many of the guests wanted to return to their quarters to rest or participate in other activities. Lerone told everyone his vision which scared Anton. He hurried Constance back to her room, had Krantz con a guard for his rifle and posted two more guards at the door.

Shahin finally got Elehah alone and confessed that he had been wanting her ever since she had left and that he has followed her exploits. Elehah began to fear Shahin and his obsession with her. As she excused herself Shahin gave her one last gift, an energy shield shaped into an Al Malik medallion.

Shale managed to sneak into Count Renato's chambers where he discovered thousands of firebirds in one chest and a vau sheath made for a human in the other. He quickly left before he was discovered.

The rest of the night went by and soon everyone was waking to prepare for the ball. The most expensive dresses were being prepared, hours of grooming and makeup as each noble made sure they were dressed their absolute best.

On the way to the ball Lerone saw Kamdon coming out of a bathroom and some of his clothing was stained with blood. Upon examining the bathroom he found further evidence that blood had been washed off his hands. Unfortunately, he had no more time to investigate as Elehah would be needing him.

During the ball the ship shook violently knocking over the guests. Guards warned Aleksei that four guild ships had shot grabbling hooks and prepared to board. The bridge crew failed to detect them until the last minute. Around a 100 armed guilds men entered the ship lead by a Reeve.

"Count Renato Decados, the guilds have decided to seize this ship due to past debts unpaid for the amount of 1,000,000 firebirds. Any and all valuables associated with the ship will also be seized under the article 31.B which you signed. Any resistance will be met with violence." said the Reeve holding up a series of documents.

Two servants came down with one of the trunks and opened it revealing the firebirds.

"Here is your payment in full, Reeve. Count it if you must as this fulfills our agreement making this seizure illegal. All your men will be escorted off my ship never to return. And I'll remember this Reeve, as no one humiliates me during one of my parties. You'll be dead before the end of the year. Get this rubble off my ship!"

During the seizure Shale again managed to sneak into Renato's chambers and stole the vau sheath. A little later Ember Decados was discovered dead with Sir Mortin Van Gelder in a secret chamber near the engineering room. They had been tied together naked and cut up with a razor. As a result Aleksei agreed to Constance's proposal for marriage.

Secrets of Lemingrad

Lerone did not sleep well. That night he had visions of the Great Dome only is wasn't the Great Dome, it was alone and more alien. He dreamt of the Vau torturing the Hironem long ago, great alien wars.

The commotion of servants woke him up outside. He stepped out and questioned them. Lerone discovered something was wrong with the Aleksei's crop. After a brief interruption from an awakened Elehah he and Aleksei went to the top of The Great Dome to discover the problem.

At the top they saw vines growing throughout the dome. It was everywhere and it was stealing the nutrients form the other plants. Aleksei ordered that it all be removed.

Lerone took some of the vine with him where he meditated on it and again the visions returned but in detail. He saw the old Great Tower filled with nothing but these vines only they had a fruit and the Hironem were collecting them. He than saw the Dome destroyed in a huge explosion.

"There is a plot... Assasination... Beware the Invisible Path... Darkness follows... beware a traitor among the Hazat..." the Rook babbled delirious from pain.

Anton suddenly awoke from his disturbing dream of when he questioned the rook back at the Amantheans. He shook off the disturbing thoughts as today was a major day. A diplomat from Sutek was suppose to arrive and transport the soldiers Isabelle had been training back to the front on Kurga. Anton also had to prepare for his trip to Lemingrad in which he and Constance were to examine the grooms wedding suit and make sure it was appropriate for Hazat viewing.

Anton headed out to the drilling areas where he expected to find Constance practicing with her rapier. However, he found Isabelle, Constance, and the back of stranger overlooking the soldiers going through drills. As he stepped forward to announce himself the stranger turned and he saw the face of Sir Orlando Luwin Castenda de Rindor, his old dueling tutor and now loyal to his traitorous brother.

Both Orlando and Anton drew the swords and engaged each other, not for sport but for honour and death. Anton started off lucky but quickly discovered he was out matched by the master swordsman. It did not matter, they would both fight until one of them was bloody and dead on the fortress wall. Isabelle had to guards fire off warning the combatants to seise.

"You two will not kill each other in an barbaric way! This will be done as a proper duel or not at all," Isabelle commanded having the two seperated at gun point. Anton returned to his room and prepared for his voyage to Lemingrad knowing that soon he will get his chance to kill the traitor.

Shale leaned back in his chair. He wasn't any good at gambling but a game of Vladimir's Suite always relaxed him. He put down his cards. A winning hand! As Shale collected the winning of trinkets and quarter pieces one of his hires, Karl, came storming into the tavern.

"Shale. I just finished speaking with some Hironem. Apparently, they discovered something alien, and old near Lemingrad. Might be worth checking out."

"K, go prepare my stuff and we'll head out immediatly. Have the others meet us in a few hours. Lets see if there is anything to this rumor."

Elehah woke up not feeling well. Being woken up early by Lerone's gibbering with the servants hadn't helped. Elehah though she would have to give him a good lecture on keeping quiet in the mornings. At least it would be repayment for all the lectures she had received from him. Lerone was walking down the hall to great her and as she drew a breath she started to shake.

Elehah knew that an seizure was about to grip her. She had lived with epilespsy since she was a young girl but discovered a medication that would prevent the seizures, unfortunatly the medicine had been weakening her and she knew it would eventually kill her... so did Lerone.

"My lady, you shouldn't. Let this one pass, no one will see you." Leroned said trying to help Elehah back into her room.

"Oh, fine than," Elehah pulled away from him and ran into her room grasping a bottle of the medicine and drinking it just before she fell into a seizure. As Elehah recovered the two noticed two Hironem just beyond the perimeter of Lemingrad. Lerone decided he wanted to speak with the hironem as they might have some answers to his vision.

Shale pulled up to the hironem. There must have been 10 of them and they were all gathered around something. Shale convinced them to allow him to see their find. Shale could not beleive what he saw; a completly in tact skeleton of a Vau. It was the discovery of a lifetime and he immediatly set to work uncovering the rest of the alien.

About an hour later he had determined the alien was at least 4000 years old and he happened to discover a Vau recording device. Shale pushed a button on it and a holographic image appeared. The hologram spoke in an alien tougue but from the images he understood it was about another Great Dome and the hironem.

Elehah and Lerome met with the two hironem. They said they wanted to speak with the priest and Lerone was more than happy to do so. They led him to the area Shale was digging and said his "S'su" would reveal the truth to them. When Shale looked up to meet with Elehah and Lerone he discoverd he was now surrounded by fifty hironem. When the hironem saw Lerone they started to bow and chant.

Anton and Constance arrived at Lemingrad. Crantz and Stern parked the vehicles as the two nobles met with Botina Kurai. It did not take them long to notice the serfs pulling long vines out of the Great Dome. Botina updated them on the situation and took them to the room with the suit.

Anton was impressed that the Decados could create anything so elegant as Aleksei's wedding suit. Nothing he would wear but perhaps the wedding would not be a complete farse. As Aleksei was going over the details they heard machine gun fire from one of the towers.

Aleksei and Anton ran outside to see what happened. They quickly noticed that about a hundred hironem surrounded the fief armed with slug guns and spears. While the two argued what to do Contance told them that she had contacted Lady Isabelle and she has decided to send Orlanda and a small regiment to deal with the aliens.

The leader of the hironem gang revealed himself and asked to speak with the noblest among the three captives. Elehah was the obvious candidate and the leader called himself the Godking. He told that they knew of the Great Dome and that it was their right to enter it and take the fruit "The Nameless One" and "The Four Gods" had given and taken away. It was now time for them to once again take the fruit.

Anton was determined to find a peaceful solution to the hironem attack. He asked to speak with two representatives. Anton got his request and two hironem were sent in. As Anton and Aleksei walked up to greet the hironem a shuttle, commanded by Orlando arrived. The shuttle floated above the two hironem diplomats and a sniper opened the door and took out them out. Anton was enraged enraged but a communication from Orlando warned him to run from the bodies. Both royals did so as the bodies exploded.

Elehah managed to convince the God King to let her go into the palace. At first they did not want to let her go as she was "the most noble" and their most valueable hostage. Elehah managed to get into the palace and was convinced that they had to shut down the alien revolt through force and started planning tactics with Orlando.

In the meantime Lerome and Shale continued to speak with hironem and found that they were all Illu (outcast) for their beleifs in the Great Dome and sacred fruit. Many had been Illu for awhile but the hironem who claimed that he was the God King (actually a false God King) chose to leave along with a few others. They also discoverd that a man named Kamdon informed the hironem rebels of the coming of the fruit.

A few of the fruits had rippened and one was taken out to Lerome and the other Aleksei took to experiment on a hironem he had captured soon after the revolt. Aleksei, Bontina, and Anton went into the basement of the basement of the Broken Tower where the hironem was being held. Aleksei fed him the fruit and a maddening form of "Far Hand" gripped Aleksei and started to strange him, and threw Anton against a wall. Bontina was quick to put a slug through his head. Aleksei was convinced that fruit was too dangerous and agreed to let Anton burn the entire crop.

Lerome knew the dangers of biting into the fruit but decided to do it anyway. He felt his spirt seperate from his body and suddenly he saw everything for miles. He saw the Great Dome's crop start to burn, he saw the Hazat troops near by, and he saw a strange man on a hover bike speed off with a crate full of the fruit. Lerome warned Shale of the thief and Shale warned everyone else. Lerome pulled further back and saw all of Cadiz. His body started to bleed out its pours. Shale held his limp body as it screamed from the damage of the fruit. Lerome continued his voyage and went through the Katerina Vau ship. Soon after Lerome knew he had to return to his body else be lost to the void.

The crop started to burn and the hironem realized that all was lost. They started to give up just as the Hazat soldiers moved in all killed the majority of them.

After the slaughter Elehah and Anton went to investigate the escaped hover cycle which they reported to the Decados authorities. They found two downed shuttles and a pilot reported loosing control of his ship as they approached the cycle....(back to the top)
