Trouble: Not so city slick
There wasn't much to do growing up, except for running, hunting, and playing on computers while people weren't home. Sure she got in trouble when the pack found out, but they weren't complaining when she got them money to hide away with. She was a bit of a beta when she was young, got picked on a lot, she never realized how much she would miss it when the pack was gone.
Someone had been watching her dealings on the internet, someone was tracing them back to the forest she and her pack called home. Wile she was infiltrating someone's home her pack was being slaughtered, her parents, her friends, everyone. The only clue that was left were their scents.
She followed the scent left at her family's resting place until she got to a small Fishing town. While wandering through everyone seemed to be looking at her funny, scared even, she then realized she was still in her wolf form, not a good mistake to make. She quickly went into the woods and changed, breaking into someone's house to get some clothes and clean up a bit. After she was presentable to humans, she began asking around town if they knew where the strangers had gone? Everyone seemed unfriendly except Captain Lewis, an old drunken sea dog, who said he had taken them to San Francisco, and would take me too, for a price. So she followed the old sea dog to his ship where she met the other passenger, John Hastings and Slim, the co pilot. It was too small a boat to need or fit many more. Only took a few days by boat, and she was lucky to find enough of a scent to lead her into the city, but it faded upon entry into the city, it smelled awful. She found her way to a place she would be comfortable, a park, and instantly caught wind of other wolves. She thought it best to introduce herself before they thought she was invading their territory.
She fell into rank at the bottom of the pack order, she was new after all, and they didn't attempt to hide that she was going to be treated as such. She was happy to be part of a group again, she never cared much about where she fell in terms of rank, so it was no skin of her back. They were interested in her particular brand of skills though, very interested.
She was finally starting to get used to the city life, the smells, the sights, the animal control personnel, when her pack asked her to go hinting with them. Finally she thought she would get to hunt with the pack, something that seemed to be lacking compared to her last pack. It wasn't the hunt she expected though, it was more of surveillance, shadowing, and reporting; she had no idea why Richard and she had to follow the funny smelling man, until she saw him cast some sort of magic. He was a far more interesting specimen than she had thought. After the hunt was over she would still go and watch him when she had free time.
