Lien
Al-Malik
Daughter of Fasil Ibn Ghaz Al-Malik. When she was 10 she snuck on board the Al Hina when it was transporting her father and his followers to Alyon. While on board she grew attached to Bissel Phileo and decided to join the Eskatonic Church.
A few days after they reached Alyon an Ur-Ukar rebellion broke out and Lien was used kidnapped and used to blackmail Fasil. Fasil had little choice and conceded to the Ukar's demands which put him in control of the aliens. His last order as a free man was to send Lien far away from him where she could no longer be used against him
During this time Lien is taken to Pentateuk where she is tutored by Bissel. After five years Lien gets antsy and can't concentrate on her studies while war rages around her. Bethal offers to help her in military training and she decides to leave against Bissel's advice. Lien leaves and spends the next three years in officer training for the Al-Malik. She now wears the banners of the Al-Malik and the Eskatonics. Having joined up with her closest friends Lien is being sent out on her first duties.
Zayn al-Abidin Shirvani
Lieutenant of the Charioteers
Zayn was once a prince of a Kurgan World. He was captured in a raid
and was protected by the ship capitan from the Crusaders. He has since
converted to the Church of the Pan-Creator, but still has aspects of
his original faith mixed in.
Ship Captain was obsessed with the legend
of the Hydra, an ancient ship that hunts in the space lanes and rumored
that it doesn't need to use a gate to move between star systems. The
Captain died after walking out the air lock because he believed he heard
the Hydra calling to him. After his death, the captain left the ship
to him. Zayn has sworn to finish what his mentor could not, capture
Hydra.
Bethel Imhat Al Malik
Knight of the Al-Malik
A knight of the House Al Malik with a talent for discovering the
truth in people, Bethel recieved an assignment to the "Seering Squads" of
Stigmata where his talent could best be used ferreting out individuals
with the Symbiot taint. It didn't hurt Bethel's enemies that
those same talents would be removed from the Al Malik courts and remove
the chance of uncovering their political plots. Bethel remains
unsure which reason truly put him on Stigmata, but he is certain the
horrific experiences will never leave his memory.
Though he intents to return to the Al Malik courts and its politics,
his old enemies used Bethel's time away to root themselves deeper
into the aristocracy and never wish to see Bethel's return home. Consequently,
he expects another assignment shortly.
Philosophus Bissel Phileo
Eskatonic Priest
For many years Bissel was a common street theif among the gangs of
The Istakhr Market. For years he found himself in and out of Al-Malik
prisons trying to survive on the streets. At his lowest moment, having
stolen a bracelet from a 10 year old girl and thinking he might die
from guilt he saw a light and followed it to the Eskotonic Church.
The church were not quick to let some vagabond in but they saw potential
in the young man. For years he ran errands and served the church before
they let him in. When he was finally initiated he served justly and
focused on his studies. However, he never seemed to shake the habit
of stealing stuff.

Fasil Ibn Ghaz Al-Malik
Count of the Al-Malik
Fasil is a subdued individual. he prefers simple trappings of
quality rather than ostentatious displays of wealth. Fasil is also
a thinker and it is for this reason that his father Ghaz Al-Malik sent
him to Leagueheim to complete his education. Fasil studied at the
Accadamia del Reeve. Fasil developed into a good lawyer and Financier. His
father could not be happier, not just to have a well educated son but
one that after his second year of schooling (through clever investments)
increased the family income by an additional 15%. Fasil learned
a great deal more in Leaguemeim than what his instructors taught him,
especially what can be achieved by an educated workforce that is fully
industrialized. He also came to understood the value of a network
of paid informants, friends, and other sources of information.

Crafter for the Engineers
Liwet is the son of Tio Satarel, a famous but heretical roboticist practicing
his forbidden art on Nowhere with the secret funding of the Guild. Upon
reaching maturity, Liwet sought passage to Leagueheim to continue his
studies into merging robotics with organics.
He would later take up an interest in symbiots and go to Stigmata where
he became hunted by the church. After making a quick getaway Liwet would
return to Leagueheim but find that his reputation would follow him their.
He now has found work as a street doctor selling augmentations on
Istakr to gladiators, soldiers, and the disfigured or crippled who can
afford to pay.
He died after being shotout the airlock by Zayin Shervani.
